Santa Teresa is a small town in Costa Rica. It is a booming travel destination and is the favorite spot of a lot of tourists, artists, surfers and beach enthusiasts. Its broad sandy beaches and great waves had surfers raving about the world class surfing experience that can be experienced here. A lot of people came here simply for a surf vacation but fell in love with the uniqueness of this travel destination.
Santa Teresa Costa Rica is a perfect spot for vacation; it has a lot of hotels, vacation rentals and resorts. There are also a lot of restaurants here offering a variety of mouth-watering cuisines and dishes. Previously, this was a small village, not known to many tourists, but now it has developed into a lovely and lively little town dotted with hotels, shops and cabanas that seem to be popping up every now and then. There are also other services in Santa Teresa Costa Rica such as doctors, ATMs, car rentals, ATV rentals, hotels with fast internet connectivity, etc.
The Playa Carmen and Playa Santa Teresa are two of the most famous beaches for surfing. If you don’t know how to surf, you can still visit it because there are a lot of surf instructors present who help those having their first surfing experiences. But that does not mean that you have to be a surfer in order to enjoy your vacation here. You can simply hang out in the pristine and tranquil beaches, which are some of the most coveted beaches in Costa Rica.
Because there are no high-rise buildings or any type of constructions here in Santa Teresa Costa Rica, one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the beaches from the hotel rooms. There’s also a broad strip of forests which hugs the shore. So if you want some shady hideaways, you can go into these forests. You can also enjoy horseback riding, kite surfing, snorkeling, fishing or go for a canopy tour. The hotels here also offer pilates and yoga or you can be adventurous and try out fire dancing or acrobatics or maybe capoeira.
If you love partying then you’ll definitely enjoy the nightlife here in Santa Teresa Costa Rica, there are a number of party spots with international DJs dropping in from time to time. You can experience the bliss of reggae nights and go for live concerts. All these hotspots are very popular with the locals as well as the tourists.
